it's florida through georgia and through south carolina. also look at the circulation and the spin right here, real easy to see where the center of circulation is and it's right there, and very, very soon it will be making landfall, i think, in the next couple of minutes, somewhere around cedar key, florida. they've been getting a title storm surge of 2 and a half feet and 30-mile-per-hour winds and in the tampa area, they've seen 3 inches of rain. this band of rain is tracking to the northeast at 70 miles an hour and expected to pick up forward speed. so the big rains they're getting down around florida and georgia, i don't think we're going to see as it makes its track eastward. here it is, by early tomorrow morning, right across eastern portions of south carolina, and by late friday, just to the east of our area. what i like is the consistency with a lot of the guidance and the computer models that we've been looking at all keeps it to the east, that forward speed cutting down on our rainfall totals. when i return a little later in the n

it's going to be just south of florida, just south of the panhandle of florida at about 45 miles per hour tomorrow, around 2:00. then watch what happens in the next 24 hours. it moves right up towards us fairly quickly. by friday at 2:00 it's just to our south. that's when we could see the heaviest rain from this. on 11:00 friday night it is just off the coast right around ocean city, maryland. looks like it could be just off to the east but ocean city over towards rehoboth, that is in the corn of uncertainty so that's something we're watching out for. if you're thinking about heading toward the beaches, could be some high winds along the chesapeake bay bridge. take a look at the rain associated with this. 8:00 on thursday, tomorrow morning, not really worried about rain. the clouds will be moving in, thickening, lowering and by 1:00 we'll start to see the showers breaking out, mostly to the west of i-95 but even in the afternoon to the east we'll see a few showers. tomorrow i don't think we'll see anything too heavy but the best chance of heavy rain will be back to the west, in and
